I love the look of Picture Jasper beads. The brown hues, shapes and lines are reminiscent of a mountain scape. I believe it's the perfect color for any season. You can match it with your favorite wood earrings or hand bag in the summer. Pair it with your favorite nude color sweater in the fall or winter. I love this color with an all white look in the spring. Originally I chose these 10mm Picture Jasper beads for my men's collection of bracelets. But I just couldn't come to make the men's bracelet. These beads were sitting in my studio waiting to be utilized stairing at me screaming when are you going to use us. I had this idea for another project using my chip beads to make a collection of different gemstone round beads mixed with gemstone chip beads of the same type or color for a monochromatic bracelet. Lo and behold I found some Picture Jasper chip beads in my stash, so a Picture Jasper bracelet was in the making to be apart of the chip bead collection. When I started to make the Picture Jasper bracelet I realized I ordered a large Picture Jasper toggle clasp and decided to use it as the closure for my bracelet. Now I had all my supplies to make a Picture Jasper version for the collection. So the beads were screaming no more I answered their call . As I added a round bead, then a gold bead, then a chip bead until I got to a 7in bracelet size I realized, this look is fire I can't stop here. I thought with the addition of the toggle clasp this piece needs to be a necklace. I continued adding more beads and the Picture Jasper Beaded Necklace with Toggle Clasp was born at 16.5" long. The Picture Jasper Beaded Necklace can be worn with the Toggle clasp in the front or the back. It's sits right at the collar bone which is my favorite style and length to make. I love accentuating the neckline. This is the first of many Picture Jasper pieces to come. Next up the men's bracelet and a women's bracelet to match the necklace.
